Topnew Knitting Group Co., Ltd. was founded
in 1952. Thanks to China's reform and open-up
and especially its restructure and integration
of five years, the Group has developed as
a large-scale group enterprise with registered
capital amounting to 170 million Yuan RMB,
a total asset of 0.68 billion Yuan RMB, integrating
the warp and weft knitted fabric industry,
the woven garment manufacturing industry,
the thread industry, the non-woven cloth industry
and the export and import trade, marketing
and material distribution of textile.
The
Group mainly produces the Topnew brand knitted
underwear, children wear and sportswear
series products; the gray cloth for knitting
garments, industrial purposes and decorations;
and non-woven cloth and yarns. The Group
takes "Green, nature and health"
as its product theme, paying attention to
the technological innovations. That is why
the brand Topnew series knitted products
have kept the title of "Beijing Brand
Product" since entitled in 1995. The
Group was awarded the "China Ecology-Textile
Contributor" by Chinese Association
of Textile Industry in 2001. And in the
same year the National Foreign Economic
and Trade Ministry listed the brand Topnew
among the key export products to be supported
and developed. In 2003, it led the Chinese
textile industry in acquiring the attestations
by the ISO9001 Quality Control System, the
ISO14001 Environmental Management System
and the OHSMS18001 Occupational Health Security
Management System. Integrating these systems
into one body, the Group has carried out
the effective management of overall process
in it and advanced to a higher management
level.
With the marketing
principle of "Paying attention to both
home and foreign trades, the Group's sales
revenue and the total export and import
volume have, in recent years, been increased
by 30% each year and its core competency
is greatly heightened.
